At WeStore Solutions, travel and international collaboration is a top priority. Part of our team operates out of Bali, Indonesia to soak in the sun and catch some waves in between work. On our way to the beach we’d always stop by a café, Oka’s Bakery, for one of their awesome Gluten-Free snacks.

After getting to know the owners of Oka’s, husband and wife Nyoman and Ketut, we fell in love with the place and became regular customers. The feeling one gets in Oka’s Bakery and Homestay is of overwhelming comfort and love. We jumped at the chance when Nyoman approached us to to collaborate on creating a web presence for the bakery and homestay.
Working with Oka’s got us more involved with the community and gave us a further look into the life of traditional Balinese.

Ketut and Nyoman are hardworking people and deserve the recognition that they deserve so we began the project with the design of their new website which matched the quality of the product they provide. A world-class bakery and homestay deserves a world-class website and we were there to help them with that process.

We mobilized our entire team and collaborated across three different timezones- Europe, Southeast Asia and South America. We were practically working in two shifts, with half our team starting work as the others are going to bed and vice versa. With this round-the-clock working we were able to finish the website quickly and with time to fine-tune the site after showing it to Nyoman and Ketut.

This project was very fun for us because we loved collaborating with the power duo of Nyoman and Ketut and it’s always nice to help out smaller businesses by bringing their web presence into the forefront. By creating a nicely designed website that properly advertises both aspects of their business, Oka’s has already been seeing more traffic with the international travellers that would have otherwise overlooked this hidden gem.
